Main benefits: -all textures are now optimized = no more runtime crashes between levels, faster loadings... -the benchmark is here: it will help you determine if you should use the... -performance mode; it's back! Use this mode to play on old computers. Personally I nickname it the "Silent Hill mode", try it if you had bad FPS in 1.0 or if you're curious about what it looks like! ;) -various other things, have a read!
